About Us
Palmer Ranch HomeWatchers® is a private company in Sarasota, FL exclusively serving the Palmer Ranch area. We have been in business since 2007 and are fully licensed and
insured. We check your vacant home on a regular basis to ensure necessary operating systems, like
electric, plumbing and A/C systems, are functioning properly.
On each visit we check the exterior perimeter of your home looking for damage or unusual
conditions. We gather mail, papers, phone books and trash and place the necessary items in your
home. Going inside, we turn on the water and flush and clean the toilets and drains. We check
your A/C unit, compressor & air handler. If you have a garage stored auto, we will start it on each visit but recommend that you use a battery trickle charger for long absences. Each visit also includes a security inspection to ensure all windows and doors are
locked and secured. If, during a visit, any irregularities are noted, we contact the homeowner
for direction. We are available to meet vendors, contractors or take deliveries. We do
everything we can to make second home ownership easy and provide you with peace of mind.

Bob & Carol Guthrie
Bob
Bob is a retired Chicago Police Commander and Hostage Team Leader. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy 164th session. He holds B.S. and M.S degrees in Criminal Justice. He is also a Vietnam Veteran-5th Special Forces Group.
Carol
Carol is a retired Chicago Police Sergeant and Homicide Detective. She holds a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice. She is also an active Florida real estate agent (since 2003).
